Arleen Tyndall
Biography
I spent 27 years working as a clinical HIV pharmacist alongside people facing trauma, mental health struggles, poverty, and addictions. In Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, I learned how trauma-informed care helped create real connection and trust.
Then I became a mother and faced my own parenting challenges. I realized that trauma-informed care had to be brought home, seeing how it overlapped with Conscious Parenting. Integrating these practices in my own home helps me heal old family patterns. This journey of unlearning has become my passion work as I left pharmacy and trained directly with Dr. Shefali to become a certified Conscious Parenting & Life Coach.
My focus is to help moms, especially those who feel exhausted from trying to “get it right,” yet trapped in a cycle and feeling alone. Together, we can heal, learn to connect with ourselves (and thus with our loved ones), and break those cycles, turning triggers into opportunities for growth.
