Karemi Alvarez holds a Master’s in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley and is a Conscious Parenting Coach certified by clinical psychologist, Dr. Shefali Tsabary in her Conscious Parenting Coaching Method. Her passion for growing as a mother and as a professional in the field of mental health has led her to dedicate years to academic and professional training. Her years of experience working in the Department of Pediatrics with the University of California, San Diego inspired her to look beyond the physical health of children and to address the connection between children’s emotional well-being and their parents’ emotional states. Karemi shares with parents the knowledge and tools they can use in their daily lives to raise their children with love, mindfulness, and emotional presence through her podcast – The Emotional Inheritance of Parenting. Through her coaching practice, Karemi guides and collaborates with parents to help them connect to themselves and their children, and establish the mental and emotional foundation for families to thrive.

Su pasión y compromiso por crecer como mamá y como profesionista en el campo de la salud mental la ha llevado a dedicar años a formarse académica y profesionalmente. Sus años de trabajo en el Departamento de Pediatría en la Universidad de California, San Diego le inspiraron a ver más allá de la salud física de los niños y a abordar la conexión entre la salud emocional de los niños y los estados emocionales de sus padres.
